Pensans School and the Newlyn & Exchange Gallery
A multi-activity workshop where pupils could explore the Cornish language through typography, animation, sound and performance, run by Alice Mahoney at Pensans School with year 3 and 4 pupils as part of the Cornish Language Festival 2019, in conjunction with and exhibited at the Exchange Gallery, Penzance.
Pupils recorded themselves saying a range of Cornish greetings which they then visually represented by making letters out of geometric shapes, animating them and making concertina books.
